# Kōdō Design System - UI Implementation Status

**Status:** ✅ Fully Implemented (Spectre Astral Theme)

## 🎨 Visual Aesthetics
The application currently renders the **"Spectre Astral"** premium theme, characterized by:

*   **Background:** Deep space gradients (`kodo-void` to `#080a0c`) with animated particle systems (`AstralBackground.tsx`).
*   **Glassmorphism:** Extensive use of `glass-hud` utility for Header and Sidebar, creating a frosted glass effect over the moving background.
*   **Neon Accents:** `kodo-cyan` (#66FCF1) and `kodo-magenta` (#8A7EA4) used for glows, borders, and active states (`animate-pulse-glow`, `shadow-neon-cyan`).
*   **Typography:** 
    *   **Headers:** `Space Grotesk` for a futuristic feel.
    *   **Body:** `Inter` for readability.
    *   **HUD/Data:** `JetBrains Mono` for technical data displays (`VZ-ID`, coordinates).

## 🏗 Architecture & Components

The UI is built on a robust, scalable architecture:

1.  **Design Tokens (Tailwind v4)**
    *   Configuration located in `apps/web/src/styles/design-tokens.css` using the `@theme` directive.
    *   Full palette defined: `kodo-void`, `kodo-ink`, `kodo-cyan`, `kodo-lime`, etc.

2.  **Component Strategy (Hybrid)**
    *   **Atomic Components (Package):** `@veza/design-system` provides the core branded elements (Gradient Buttons, Inputs).
    *   **Composite Components (Local):** `apps/web/src/components/ui` adapts Shadcn UI to use Kōdō tokens, allowing for complex interactive components (Cards, Accordions, Dropdowns) that match the brand perfectly.

3.  **Layout System**
    *   `DashboardLayout.tsx` orchestrates the `Sidebar` (Fixed, collapsible) and `Header` (Glass HUD).
    *   Responsive design handles mobile/desktop states with smooth transitions (`duration-500`).

## 🔍 Verification

To visually verify the design system implementation:

1.  Start the development server: `npm run dev`
2.  Navigate to the **Design System Demo**: `http://localhost:5173/design-system`
    *   *This page showcases all buttons, inputs, cards, and animations in one view.*
3.  Check the **Dashboard**: `http://localhost:5173/dashboard`
    *   *Verifies the layout, glass effects, and background animations.*
